The last time I wrote a journal entry, it was 2012. My physical journal is nearly that bad, too. I believe in keeping a journal, but for me, photography serves as a good secondary journal. I like taking pictures of things that will help me remember stuff that has happened or what life was like at a certain time. It's a wonderful way to document things, and thanks to modern technology, the date is even recorded for me! The only things I can't stress enough when using photos as a way of keeping track- BACK UP YOUR STUFF! Oh, and don't forget to make sure the camera date is correct. That's my advice for the day.

Too busy for me!

I have been so busy lately, that I forget to take time to do the things that I love best, namely writing things and taking pictures of things. My camera needs a good cleaning, I think, and maybe my brain does too (isn't that called brainwashing?). Neither my brain nor my camera seem to function as efficiently as they once did, so sometimes, they sit idle while I do things without a whole lot of thought.
I work at an animal shelter, which is part of the reason for my being so busy all the time. It seems there are never enough hours in a day to keep up with the problems that people bring to us. I've come to the grand conclusion that there are

I'm just trying out this free premium membership thing... after a LONG period of inactivity on my part, I am finally posting something new. Guess I should check my messages, too. I used to post photos on a regular basis, with promptings from my girls, but I have been so busy lately, that it just isn't top priority. Pretty sad when our own interests get shoved to the back burner.
Anyway, I don't really have anything profound to say today, but I really like this journal skin as I have a love of animals, especially the ones that I work with at our local animal shelter. I'd like to encourage anyone that reads this to adopt from their local anim
